How to read this list

The sources below are numbered to match the inline citations throughout the site. The strongest human evidence is small — Phase I studies of three to twenty subjects for pigmentation and erections. Much of the safety record is built from individual case reports, which establish that a harm can occur but not how often. Reviews and analytical studies round out the picture on regulatory status and product quality. Compound names are generic throughout.
